Texas State Dietetic Internship

A Student-Centered MS/DI

Preparing the next generation of nutrition and dietetics leaders through rigorous course work and unique supervised practice rotations in a culturally inclusive, equity-focused program.

Combined MS/DI Program

The internship is combined with the Master's of Science in Human Nutrition for a 22-month combined MS/DI. Program graduates are qualified to take the Registration Examination for Dietitians administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

Experience That Counts

Interns complete supervised practice rotations with clinical, community, and food service partners throughout Central Texas. With a program concentration in pediatric nutrition, interns receive over 400 hours of pediatric experience.

How to Apply

Interested students can apply through DICAS or through our pre-select option. Click below to learn about application requirements, the application process, and the steps to becoming a registered dietitian. The preselect application deadline is January 15. The DICAS application deadline is February 1.
