Texas State Dietetic Internship

A Student-Centered MS/DI

The Texas State University Dietetic Internship trains entry-level registered dietitians who provide high quality and current nutrition services to the public in the ever-evolving health care and nutrition and foods professional environments.

Combined MS/DI Program

The internship is combined with the Master's of Science in Human Nutrition for a 22-month combined MS/DI. Program graduates are qualified to take the Registration Examination for Dietitians administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

"Taking part in the Texas State MS/DI felt like being a part of one of the best programs in the country.  Faculty and preceptors genuinely care about intern success and make an effort to prepare them for the working world. Career readiness starts with the real-world experiences during the internship, and the Texas State MS/DI gave me the backbone for many potential career opportunities."
